First Time Clients

Congratulations!
Now we are officially starting our collaboration on this exciting new project! It has to start somewhere, and I’m here to help guide your way. This change is very exciting and at the same time quiet overwhelming, my job is to present to you this program in an organized manner. You will get emails twice a week with tips and motivation as well as meetings (varies upon request) to check up on your progress. If you do not live in the California area we will discuss other options (video calls, phone calls etc.) Here are a few things to look over before the first consultation.

How to prepare for the first consult.

1. Communication. Attached to this email is a questionnaire and a food diary to fill out and send

back. We want to get the most out of our meetings and being prepared will be a huge time saver! Three days before we meet I will like you to write down everything you eat into your food diary. Everything. Don’t be shy and don't forget to add drinks or snacks. The more accurate you are, the easier it will be to get a clearer picture of your day to day food consumption and see if changes need to be made.

2. Mentally prepare. Think and write a list of questions you may have, topics you want to have covered and goals you want to be met. After each meeting, I will ask you to do the same. I want this program to be personal (hence the name) and make sure your concerns are met.

3. Understand. This will be overwhelming at first. I might be telling you that a lot of your habits have to change and your pantry staples must go. I’m not going to lie, it will be difficult! You must stay committed to feel different, to see results. Be prepared for a change. Remember your goals. Remind yourself what you want and why you joined this program. Little tip: It takes a minimum of 21 days for habits to form in a human being, keep that in mind. It will get easier!

My Goals

One thing I will always repeat (as stated above), ‘let's try to keep this realistic’. What we are creating is a lifestyle program. Not a diet! We are putting together tips and changes on how to achieve your goals. I won't say ‘never’ to your guilty pleasures! It’s more about how you approach them. We don’t want your mind to focus on what you can’t have but why it’s not too great for you.

I will try to not get too technical and boring about it all but at the same time, my goal is for you to understand what you do to your body and how it is all affected by the way you treat it. With the information, I provide I am sure you will have the ability to make the right choices, appreciate your body and be able to take on the task as your own personal health coach!
